Music & Hospitality

A strong music and cultural program is the of the community building side of hospitality brands as La Granja in Ibiza and Tulum Treehouse where I experienced the growth and change of tourism over recent years. Both properties operated as boutique hotels and offered a gastronomic experience through their locally sourced restaurants. My mission as a cultural advisor and community director was to create an interesting program of music & lifestyle experiences building the bridge with the local community.

Projects

2020-2022

Tulum Treehouse

Tulum Treehouse is a five-bedroom guesthouse and destination restaurant that explores the flavors and musical culture of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Tulum, while offering various exotic hotel locations and very few cultural experiences, is mainly known for its polished beaches and extravagant parties. This small hotel and restaurant are located in one of the busiest nightlife strips with a dense passage of weekend tourism and chaotic movement.

My role as events director and community manager was to create an intimate atmosphere for like-minded international guests. TT was considered one of the last 'oases' remaining in the area.

2017-2020

La Granja Ibiza

La Granja Ibiza was known for its distinct concept, which combined elements of a boutique hotel, farm to table restauran and cultural hub.

As a Cultural Director and community manager, I built a diverse cultural and artistic program, including workshops, artistic performances, and exhibitions. These actions transformed the restaurant into a social point of encounter and attracted local and passing guests interested in the arts and culture scene of the island.

La Granja maintained a sense of exclusivity by limiting the number of guests and events, creating an intimate atmosphere that appealed to those seeking a more private and personalized experience

2022-2023

Six Senses Ibiza

The Beach Caves at Six Senses is a serene, enchanting space, Cosmic Tales was a weekly dinner celebration with a curated music program.

As the musical curator and resident DJ of Cosmic Tales, my aim was to weave together an evening of quality music and to mix a local and international crowd into the dancefloor. The event was one of the favorite destinations for islanders and hotel guests venturing between the restaurant and outdoor spaces.

The community aspect of this project was mainly focused on creating a local and international audience and to bring a fresh musical direction to the hotel and restaurant.
